i don't think it's the situations that make life difficult. it's the choices. situations aren't hard to deal with at all. all you have to do is sit back and let it happen. but when you're confronted with a decision...that's where the angst comes in. the "goodest" choices are the hardest ones. to be honest, sometimes i resent being a christian. I'M the one that always has to worry about living a sinless life. i don't see any of my "non-christian" friends losing sleep over right and wrong. They don't have to worry about making the right decision, only the decision that's best for them. it sure doesn't FEEL like freedom.

camp was freakin amazing.

why?

we shared the intimacy of prayer and worship as a community of totally different backgrounds.
we swapped flip flops and bug spray
we started a day with a smile and "good morning!"
we created a community of holiness and purity that we don't see in society
we shared a calling, a holy one, to serve God this summer at IAWAH

if you want details you'll have to talk to either me or herman. i'm more accessible. i'm VERY upset that i can't stay the whole summer there.
